OH NO! The one pair left on Zappos is my size..... Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I love other Riekers - I now have the Federica 05 in both black and red. They are by far my most comfortable shoes, and I have been on a comfortable shoe buying spree since injuring my foot.

My podiatrist likes the Rieker brand too. I think you know each other, Kirstin. Jenny Sanders? I mentioned your blog to her.

Get them!! No pressure...but, GET THEM! Ha. I think it might be a retired style as I don't see many of that certain style on the internet. Jenny Sanders has the blog, right? I've linked to her a few times but have never met her. Thanks for telling her about BDS:-)

Those shoes strike me as beautiful, in an unusual sort of way. I can't explain it, but I'm not sure I could pull off either style. I might just have to admire from afar, but nice to know of another brand that is well made and comfortable.

Looks like Rose (or someone) bought the Mirjam - the alternative Zappos suggests in Reikers is pretty cute. I've been eyeing some of Reiker's slip on loafers with cutouts, but I don't need a lot of depth in the toe area, so am not sure they'll work for me. An alternative to the Mirjam is the Josef Seibel Rose, which I have in black & wear several times a week (& usually get at least one compliment each time).

I did buy that last pair of the Mirjam. They are on my feet today thanks to overnight shipping. They are comfortable and cute. The color is darker than it appears in the photo here (at least on my monitor) which is good for me. I am wearing them to work and I think they are probably not quite the thing for a business outfit, but I can never wait to wear new shoes. They will be great to wear on weekends all fall.
