I am reserving judgment! My first reaction is not-so-cute, but I bet I know some women who could rock these.

I so LOVE these!! They are a very cute Chuck Taylor look, but I bet they are extremely comfy and would give me a little height. Keep us posted for if they ever go on clearance. I might have to find a way to get them!!

Gah! The top is fine-- Converses are perennially cool-- but the thick white rocker sole completely kills it.

noooooooooooo the white sole makes it look like a nurse orthopedic shoe. I'm with Caitlin!

Horrible!
I appreciate what they were doing with the upper... but they went so horribly wrong with the sole.

I am so torn! I would have to see them on, to see how bad the white sole really looked.

Interested. I'd like to try it out before passing judgement. Been lusting after a pair of converse for awhile but I just can't wear them!

I wonder if healthcare professionals could wear them because of white sole? Would be a cute option.

The perfect outfit for these would involve striped socks and polka dot bloomers. Yes, these would make terrific clown shoes!

Love them! But ... I bet that seam on the side would make my bunion hurt, darn it. Sigh.

HOW IS THIS SO CLOSE?? totally horrible!

I voted them a NO, but that's for me. However I could totally see them with a vintage dress that hits between below the knee and calf, if it's a very slim woman. Also could see them with something unexpected like a romper in the summer. However they would be VERY hard to rock on most women and with most contemporary fashion!

I think they look cute, and voted so, however I would not wear them becasue they have a 2" heel. I really do not need to be any taller - seriously, not even a cm.

Reminiscent of Converse...cute design but look too clunky with the clog type sole. Ordered a pair to see what they look like in person.

I love this shoe! It's adorable and will be great for my patients who love the "Converse" look but can't where them because of foot problems. What makes this shoe so good is the rigid protective sole - I love Dansko!

Here's a link to the video on Zappos.com. I think they're much cuter on the foot then they are in the static photo: http://www.zappos.com/product/video-description.zml?video=http://www.zappos.com/media/video/7/7/1/7714702.flv">http://www.zappos.com/media/video/7/7/1/7714702.flv">http://www.zappos.com/product/video-description.zml?video=http://www.zappos.com/media/video/7/7/1/7714702.flv

I found this post because the image was suggested at the bottom of your new post. I actually have these shoes. They're cute with a skirt and little "no-show" socks. But I didn't pay full price. Someone had returned them at Nordstrom, so they ended up at the Rack by my house. I think I paid $25. And for that, they're a steal. I used to wear converse, but with my back condition I can't now.
